Is ITM Mobile GDPR Compliant?

Yes, ITM Mobile has been GDPR Compliant since before the launch of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation on May 25, 2018.

What information do we collect in our mobile event app?

We collect the information that you provide in your profile once registering for an event or when logging in to the App, this typically includes Name, Company Name, Title, Email, Phone Number and sometimes Address and brief BIO.

If the event is utilizing Beacons for indoor positioning, we will also collect where on the trade show floor, festival or event area visitors have moved around and for how long people have stayed in exhibitor/vendor booths and sponsored areas.

In case there is a merchandise or donation module included with the App we will also collect information as to which and how many items you purchased or amount donated.

How do we protect visitor information?

We use SSL certificate. If payments are collected it is done via payment processing company and no credit card information is ever stored on the App.

Can I control what of my personal information is shared on the app?

Yes, by logging into the app you can via “My Profile” manage and edit your personal information at any time.

Third Party Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer Personally Identifiable Information.

California Online Privacy Protection Act According to CalOPPA we agree to the following:

Users can visit our site as well as our Apps anonymously.
Users are able to change their personal information by logging in to their account and update their in-App profile.

How does our site handle do not track signals?

We do not honor Do Not Track signals.

COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act)

We do not specifically market to children under 13

Fair Information Practices

In order to be in line with Fair Information Practices we will take the following responsive action, should a data breach occur:

We will notify the users via email within 7 business days

We agree to the individual redress principle, which requires that individuals have a right to pursue legally enforceable rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law. This principle requires not only that individuals have enforceable rights against data users, but also that individuals have recourse to courts or a government agency to investigate and/or prosecute non-compliance by data processors
